In a dazzling homage to the ocean’s mystique, Tiffany & Co. has unveiled its 2025 Blue Book collection, aptly titled “Sea of Wonder.” This latest high jewelry ensemble, crafted under the visionary guidance of Chief Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille, draws inspiration from the enigmatic depths of the sea, translating its beauty into wearable art.

A Symphony of the Sea
The “Sea of Wonder” collection is structured into six thematic chapters: Ocean Flora, Seahorse, Sea Turtle, Starfish, Urchin, and Wave. Each chapter encapsulates a unique aspect of marine life, reimagined through Tiffany’s lens of luxury and craftsmanship.
Ocean Flora

This chapter celebrates the delicate beauty of underwater gardens. A standout piece features a necklace adorned with vibrant Zambian emeralds, their verdant hues reminiscent of lush sea plants, set amidst a cascade of diamonds that mimic the shimmer of sunlight filtering through water.
Seahorse

Drawing from Jean Schlumberger’s iconic 1968 brooches, this segment reinterprets the seahorse with contemporary flair. Fluted moonstones and a harmonious blend of colored gemstones, including zircons and sapphires, bring these mythical creatures to life, capturing their elegance and complexity.
Sea Turtle

Symbolizing longevity and grace, the sea turtle designs feature intricate diamond patterns and gold detailing. A notable piece is a pendant that transforms into a brooch, reflecting the turtle’s journey from land to sea, showcasing Tiffany’s innovative approach to design.
Starfish

This chapter deconstructs the starfish into high jewelry with celestial overtones. Utilizing rubies from Mozambique, rose-cut diamonds, and pavé settings, each piece offers sculptural complexity, embodying the starfish’s graceful form.
Urchin

Inspired by the intricate forms of sea urchins, this segment employs paillonné enameling—a 19th-century technique revitalized by Schlumberger—to add a delicate, thorny texture to the designs, capturing the iridescent essence of the sea.
Wave

The final chapter celebrates the ocean’s dynamic movement through powerful, sculptural designs. The Wave necklace, inspired by Schlumberger’s famous Leaves Necklace, features diamonds accented by vivid blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines totaling over 17 carats, evoking the opulence of crashing waves.
A Night of Elegance and Artistry
To commemorate the launch of “Sea of Wonder,” Tiffany & Co. hosted an intimate gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The event was graced by brand ambassadors and celebrities, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Gabrielle Union, and Alicia Keys. Guests were treated to a luxurious seafood-inspired dinner beneath the museum’s soaring glass ceilings, followed by a surprise performance by Keys, who delivered a powerful set featuring hits like “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Empire State of Mind.”

Taylor-Joy captivated attendees in a black embroidered gown, accessorized with Wave earrings and a matching necklace from the new collection. Union exuded elegance in a custom Danielle Frankel gown, complemented by aquamarine and diamond jewelry that mirrored the ocean’s hues. Keys made a bold fashion statement in a Givenchy suit jacket, sans top, highlighting a dazzling Tiffany diamond vine necklace.
Embracing the Ocean’s Enchantment
“Sea of Wonder” stands as a testament to Tiffany & Co.’s enduring commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and craftsmanship. By drawing inspiration from the ocean’s depths and Schlumberger’s legendary aquatic motifs, the collection invites admirers to embark on a journey through uncharted realms of beauty and elegance.
For those captivated by the allure of the sea and the artistry of fine jewelry, Tiffany & Co.’s “Sea of Wonder” offers a mesmerizing exploration of nature’s most enigmatic treasures.
