Paris has never needed much encouragement to make jewelry feel important. But for Spring/Summer 2027, the city’s designers seemed particularly unwilling to let a necklace, earring, or bracelet sit quietly in the background. The most interesting Paris Fashion Week Spring 2027 jewelry trends were not about one precious metal or one prescribed silhouette. They were about presence. Earrings stretched toward the shoulders. Necklaces accumulated around the collarbone. Cuffs climbed higher up the arm. Brooches wandered away from their usual lapels. And jewelry acquired faces, animals, flowers and other little flashes of personality.
It made sense within a season increasingly interested in movement, individuality and the tension between ease and ornament. Across Paris, clothes were often light and fluid, while accessories supplied the drama. In other words, the jewelry was doing some of the talking.
Here Are the Top Jewelry Trends from Paris Fashion Week Spring 2027
The Earring Goes Long
There was very little interest in keeping an earring politely beside the jaw this season. At Acne Studios, Isabel Marant, Dior, Givenchy, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Chloé, Celine, and Chanel, earrings dropped, dangled, swung, and otherwise made themselves impossible to ignore. Some were delicate and elongated; others were weighted with tassels, gemstones or sculptural details.
Givenchy took the idea particularly far, with earrings reaching down toward the collarbone, while Dior’s jewelry moved with the collection’s light, airy clothes. The broader fashion conversation has picked up on the same phenomenon: extraordinarily long earrings are emerging as one of the defining jewelry statements of the season.
There is something wonderfully old-fashioned about it. A long earring moves when its wearer does. It catches the light, grazes the neck, and creates a tiny bit of theatre without requiring an entire outfit to perform. For Spring 2027, the earring wants to be seen.

The Neckmess Gets Longer
If the earrings were traveling south, necklaces were not exactly staying put either. Long pendants appeared at Acne Studios, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, Givenchy, Gabriela Hearst, and Zimmermann. Elsewhere, designers piled up beads, pearls and chains, creating neckmess after neckmess. Valentino’s substantial pearl necklace moment and Chanel’s long beaded and bib-like arrangements pushed the idea toward something almost sculptural.
Givenchy’s necklaces were particularly compelling, with monumental forms and tasselled elements that blurred the line between necklace and object. This is not really a return to the single statement necklace. It is more abundant than that.
The Spring 2027 neckmess can be long, layered, beaded, jeweled, slightly eccentric—or all of those things at once. And for anyone who has ever bought a necklace because it looked wonderful in a jewelry box and then wondered what on earth to wear with it, Paris has supplied the answer: wear it with another necklace.

The Cuff Climbs Higher

The bracelet is becoming less interested in behaving like a bracelet. Across Paris, cuffs and bangles became substantial pieces of architecture. Acne Studios showed an arm cuff, Tom Ford sent out chunky architectural bangles, Chloé and Schiaparelli embraced bold gold, while Celine and Hermès made a strong case for substantial silver.
Zimmermann offered one of my favorite styling details: gold cuffs worn unusually high on the arm, closer to the elbow than the wrist. That small shift changes the entire feeling of the piece. A cuff worn high becomes almost part of the silhouette. It is no longer an accessory tucked into the edge of a sleeve; it is a deliberate interruption of the arm.
At Hermès, even familiar house language was translated into chunky cuff forms, reinforcing the season’s broader interest in turning practical or inherited codes into something more sculptural. The bracelet, in other words, has ambitions.

The Brooch Breaks Free
The brooch has spent enough time behaving itself. At Dries Van Noten, brooches appeared not only on lapels but at the waist and shoulders. Chanel brought fabric brooches into its colorful mix, while Tom Ford used a dramatic fabric rose against its sharply sensual tailoring.
Dries was particularly persuasive because the brooches felt like part of the styling language rather than isolated pieces of jewelry. This is the direction I find most appealing for the collector: a brooch should not have to wait for a jacket. Pin one onto a scarf. A dress. A handbag. The shoulder of a coat. The waist of a simple black dress. The point is not to revive the old-fashioned brooch exactly as it was. It is to give it a new life.

Jewelry Gets a Personality
Perhaps my favorite development in the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2027 jewelry trends is the growing refusal to make jewelry merely beautiful. At Acne Studios, faces appeared across rings, earrings and brooches. Animal motifs appeared elsewhere, alongside flowers, butterflies, fruit-like forms and other wonderfully eccentric details. These pieces have something that a perfectly proportioned diamond tennis bracelet cannot always provide: character.
A face staring back from earrings feels like a tiny companion. An animal brooch can be mischievous. A flower-shaped ring can make an otherwise simple outfit unexpectedly romantic. This is jewelry as storytelling rather than decoration.
And it fits neatly into a broader Paris mood in which fashion is becoming more interested in personality, whimsy, and the emotional value of objects. The Row, for example, moved away from its famously strict minimalism toward crochet, fringe, lace, beading, and a more bohemian richness.

What Paris Gets Right About Jewelry for Spring
There is no single metal that wins Paris for Spring 2027. Gold is magnificent at Saint Laurent. Silver has plenty of momentum at Hermès, Celine, Givenchy, and elsewhere. Colorful stones bring another layer of energy, while pearls and beads continue to make appearances.
What has changed is the scale and attitude.
The strongest Paris Fashion Week Spring 2027 jewelry trends are asking jewelry to occupy more space, create more movement, and reveal more personality. A necklace should not merely fill the hollow of the throat. An earring can nearly become part of the hairstyle. A cuff can travel halfway up the arm. A brooch can abandon the lapel altogether.
The best pieces are the ones that make you look twice. And perhaps that is the real Paris lesson for Spring 2027: jewelry does not have to finish a look. It can be the thing that gives the look its point of view.
